Privacy & AI
Epicly helps you capture and organize what happens at your table. It does not write your story, train on your campaigns, or share your data without your say-so. You and your players are still in charge.
The story is yours
At the table, the magic comes from you: the DM weaving plot threads, the players making bold choices, the jokes that only your group would find funny. Epicly is not here to invent that. We are here to remember it.
Think of Epicly as the world's best session scribe — the friend who takes meticulous notes so everyone else can stay in the moment. Our AI transcribes your recordings, turns them into organized recaps, and helps organize your Wiki. It saves you the hours of note-taking and lore wrangling. It does not decide what happens next in your campaign.
You run the game. Epicly captures it.
Our promises
Your campaign content is not a product. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or session data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else for their own marketing.
Your story is not used to improve AI models — not ours, not anyone's. Session recordings, transcripts, recaps, and wiki entries stay yours and are processed only to deliver the service to you.
We do not hold onto your raw recordings after your session is transcribed. Once processing is complete, the audio is removed from our systems so your table's voice stays private.
Your campaign is never public. Nothing is visible to anyone outside your table unless you explicitly invite players or share a link yourself.
Everything you upload — recordings, notes, recaps, wiki entries — remains yours. You can edit, export, or delete it at any time through your account.
Epicly does not generate plot, write dialogue, or steer your campaign. The DM and players create the story; Epicly organizes what already happened so you can pick up where you left off.
What Epicly AI actually does
Epicly AI exists to save you time on the work nobody loves — transcription, summarization, note-taking, and keeping your world organized. Here is exactly what it helps with:
Turn session audio into searchable text so you can find that NPC name or plot detail without scrubbing through hours of recording, or writing down everything from memory.
Creates session recaps and GM guides from your actual play — highlighting key events, loose threads, and memorable moments your table already created.
Suggests wiki entries, tracks characters and locations in your Campaign Codex, and helps you search lore you have already built — so prep takes minutes, not hours.
